Day 14 - Polyphenols

I went to the Dr today for my annual physical.  I have some new vocabulary to share with you.

Polyphenols - Polyphenols are the chemicals that give vegetables and fruits their colors.  They also represent the plant's primary defense mechanism against invading bacteria and other parasites.  These foods are very important for an unhealthy person to fix Cellular Inflammation.

Cellular Inflammation - When the body contains too much Omega 6 and not enough Omega 3.  Caused by eating too many carbs.  Bad carbs.  Not the Polyphenols.

Omega 3 Fish Oil - Omega 3 fatty acids are the dietary building blocks to make powerful anti-inflammatory hormones.  Without adequate levels of omega-3 fatty acids in the diet, cellular inflammation increases.

So along with God, I have my Doctor to help me with my transitional journey.  I went to the store to stock up on my Polyphenols.  Here they are.
